The Kinney Centerfor Autism Education and Support

has a two-fold mission: to educate and train the autism professionals of tomorrow, while supporting and serving the individuals and families affected by autism today.

The Kinney Center seeks students with high aspirations of serving children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their families, schools, service providers and community. Students will be challenged to approach the autism field in a creative, spirited and meaningful way, and to work to produce the best possible outcomes for those with ASD. The Kinney Center is committed to helping individuals with autism live greater.

On Saturday evenings during the academic year the Kinney Center hosts monthly installments of Adults Night Out. This recreational program is a great opportunity for participants to partake in a night of fun with peers while receiving guided support.

The Kinney Center offers a day camp designed to bring the meaning of summer to children with autism, letting kids be kids while growing socially. Camp Kinney provides a traditional camp experience to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ages 3-14, offering positive recreational activities along with opportunities to interact with "neuro-typical" peers. An auxiliary camp program is available to applicants over the age of 14.

The Kinney Center has partnered with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to host iCan Bike, a week long clinic that teaches individuals on the clinic how to ride a bike!

Autism Week 2016 - A Huge Success!
Autism Week 2016 hosted over 500 Kinney Supporters, and raised upwards of $25,000. We truly appreciate everyone who participated, and are already looking forward to April 2017!
Paul and Margaret Hondros to be Honored at SJU Graduation
Paul and Margaret Hondros will receive an honorary degree at this year’s SJU Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony. This is such a well-deserved honor for two individuals whose vision has changed the lives of the students we train, and families we serve.
