The Kinney Centerfor Autism Education and Support

has a two-fold mission: to educate and train the autism professionals of tomorrow, while supporting and serving the individuals and families affected by autism today.

The Kinney Center seeks students with high aspirations of serving children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their families, schools, service providers and community. Students will be challenged to approach the autism field in a creative, spirited and meaningful way, and to work to produce the best possible outcomes for those with ASD. The Kinney Center is committed to helping individuals with autism live greater.

Those with ASD can achieve great collegiate success, and the College Bound Retreat program is individualized support to kick-start the accomplishment of these educational goals. Attendees identify which schools are successfully supporting those with ASD and learn about living away from home, choosing an area of study and using social skills to navigate a college campus and relationships.

The Kinney Center has partnered with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to host iCan Bike, a week long clinic that teaches individuals on the clinic how to ride a bike!

Save the Date for the Fourth Annual Kinney Walk/run for Autism.  Last year over 1,000 people strapped on their running shoes and supported individuals with autism and their families.  Let's make this year even BIGGER!

The Kinney Center's Transitional Social Skills Program helps adolescents with autism (ages 14 to 18 years old) improve social interaction skills in a group-learning environment, while beginning instruction on life and vocational skills.
